We'll be back at Woodlands for the first of the new season of this year's Mixes on Sunday from 7.30pm. Myself and Charlie will be leading some worship, and Philip Jinadu will be speaking to us.

I've just got back from Greenbelt - nice to see some of you there.

I spring-cleaned thr Mix bunker on my own as Colse was at Soul Survivor. It's been left all nice and tidy for next summer.

August has proceeded without incident. I have been allowed time off for good behaviour to attend John's wedding, leaving corporal Colse in charge; he is more than capable of defending the Mix bunker with his arsenal of laser guns. (see devotionyouth.blogspot.com).

Greetings Mix Comrades,

Things in the bunker are proving difficult. The Altwassers have decided to leave the commune due to lack of adequate tea making facilities and John has preferred to get married and go on honeymoon as opposed to helping me re-rig our roofing and drainage system in a force 8 gale. I don’t know – it’s just so hard to find reliable worship leaders these days :-)

I have just emerged from the mud and general Holy Spirit madness that was Soul Survivor Momentum 2007. There were some really, truly incredible times of worship lead by a whole bunch of different people – Ben C, Matt R, David Ruis etc. What was evident was a desire to worship in a deeper way – just imagine a shed full of 3,000 people singing and at one point really shouting their praises to God all together.

I’ve been writing some new songs recently – hope to be able to share them with you at some point. Maybe we can do an album – ‘songs from the bunker’.

See you all later – if you’re going to SSA or SSB have an amazing time, encounter God, love your friends and get muddy, and we’ll see you in the new term.

Remember: the revolution will not be televised. In any case Colse and I would miss it – we’re playing on the Wii.

Colse, Ruth, John and I are going to be taking some much needed time off for R&R, and John is going to get married! Apart from that, we will be retreating to the Mix Secret Underground Cavern under the downs to plot our next phase of world domination. The revolution is here.

In between attending weddings every weekend and revising for exams I'll be trying to record my long overdue album.

Here we have a lesser spotted Leung, observed in its natural habitat near Croyde Bay in Devon.

I just wanted to check in with you all really - we had some really astounding stories come out of the last Mix, particularly about a guy who's broken elbow got healed when he came forward for prayer.

Isn't it great to serve a God who's just so real?
